Cookies / The storage ledger
Optional storage is a separate choice.
Reading about Moxby workspace software or sending a team workspace setup inquiry does not require optional analytics or advertising storage. This ledger separates a saved preference from campaign measurement and from the support conversation you request.

Moxby workspace storage choices
A cookie is one way to keep information in a browser. Local storage is another. The choice is about what information does, not just the storage technology's name. A browser token used to reconnect a support question is not treated as permission to recognise you for advertising.
The controls cover optional measurement for this website. They do not grant a Moxby browser assistant permission to read another website, run an action or inspect local files. Those questions belong in the browser assistant scope, not in a cookie decision.
| Clause | Plain-language meaning | Why it applies |
|---|---|---|
| 01 / NecessaryStrictly necessary operation | The site needs to remember an explicit storage decision so it can apply it on later pages. Necessary server processing also delivers a page or accepts a message. These functions are separate from optional audience measurement. A support-session token is used only after you request a conversation. It lets that browser reconnect to the conversation instead of asking you to start again at each visit. | A decline must be remembered as reliably as an allowance. A requested support session also needs continuity. Neither purpose justifies turning on advertising storage. |
| 02 / OptionalAnalytics storage | Analytics storage helps understand visits and website use. It is optional and has its own control. It is not required to display a product page, edit a setup selection or send an inquiry. | Understanding site use is different from answering your question. You can allow analytics without allowing advertising, or leave both declined. |
| 03 / OptionalAdvertising storage and use | This category covers optional advertising storage, advertising user data and personalisation. It supports attribution of paid visits or inquiries to a campaign under the corresponding allowance. It does not turn the details in an inquiry into public content. Do not place private information in a message or a website URL to make attribution easier. | Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send paid traffic to this destination. Their measurement purposes are not essential to submitting a setup request. |
The named record and the storage roles
The only key used to persist a consent choice on this site is site_consent_v2. A chat token has a different purpose.
| Clause | Plain-language meaning | Why it applies |
|---|---|---|
| 04 / Preference recordSaved consentsite_consent_v2 | Set by: this website in your browser. Purpose: record and apply your analytics and advertising decisions, including a decline. Nothing else on this site persists a consent choice. Retention: the record of a consent choice is kept for 6 months. You can replace the decision before then through Cookie choices. Clearing browser storage may remove it sooner. | Remembering your choice stops a page change from silently resetting it. This is an essential preference record, not evidence that you agreed to every category. A record of an allowance is used to apply that allowance; a record of a decline keeps optional storage off. |
| 05 / Requested sessionSupport chat tokenBrowser session token for guhu740.php | Set by: this website after you start support chat. Purpose: connect the browser to your conversation when you return. It is saved in local storage where storage is available. Duration: the token can remain in the browser until removed or invalidated; no fixed browser expiry is specified here. The associated chat transcript is retained for 6 months. A transcript retention period is not a promise about a browser key's expiry. | You requested a support conversation. The token serves that request rather than campaign attribution. On a shared device, another person using the same browser may be able to return to the session. Closing the chat panel stops the visible interaction. It is not a deletion request for the server-held conversation. |
| 06 / Arrival dataClick identifiersgclid / msclkid / fbclid | Set by: the relevant advertising platform in a click URL. Purpose: attribute a visit or inquiry to a paid click. An identifier can arrive before you make any storage decision. Duration: being present in the URL does not establish a cookie lifespan. Optional persistence is subject to advertising consent. Provider retention follows the provider's policy; there is no single expiry period covering every platform. | A URL parameter and a saved browser identifier are not the same thing. Receiving the link is not an allowance to keep the identifier in optional storage. The site does not carry those identifiers forward in visible internal links or copy them into your inquiry notes. |
| 07 / Provider storageOptional measurement identifiers | Set by: the relevant measurement or advertising service under the choices that apply. Purpose: optional visit measurement or campaign attribution, not the delivery of your support message. Duration: provider-controlled storage and records have provider-specific rules. No unverified cookie name or fixed lifespan is asserted here. Use the policy links below for the providers' handling and ask us about an observed item you cannot identify. | A click parameter identifies the incoming advertising link, not every item a provider stores. If you want to ask about a storage item, send its name and the page where it appears. Do not send its value. |
Server records are not browser cookiesInquiries and their email copies are retained for 24 months; server and access logs for 90 days. Those records are covered in the privacy retention section. Removing a browser key does not delete a sent inquiry.
How paid-click attribution arrives
| Clause | Plain-language meaning | Why it applies |
|---|---|---|
| 08 / Google AdsGoogle clickgclid | Google Ads attaches | This site receives paid clicks from Google Ads. The identifier can appear on arrival even while all optional consent signals remain denied. |
| 09 / Microsoft AdvertisingMicrosoft clickmsclkid | Microsoft Advertising attaches | Microsoft Advertising runs traffic to moxbey.com. A Microsoft click is not counted as permission to bypass a stored decline or a recognised browser opt-out. |
| 10 / Meta AdsMeta clickfbclid | Meta Ads attaches | Meta Ads also sends traffic here. The existence of a campaign does not make advertising storage essential to an inquiry or support session. |
| 11 / Measurement boundaryDenied is a signal, not a missing tag | Current measurement distinguishes permitted storage from denied-consent handling. A tag can receive a denied consent state, and providers can handle limited signals under their own policies. A declined choice is not represented as a guarantee that no network request or tag exists. | The relevant promise is about the choice being applied, not the absence of advertising. Provider processing is explained in the linked policies and the recipient section. |
Four signals follow two controls
Consent Mode v2 starts with all four signals denied. An allowance changes only the category you selected.
| Clause | Plain-language meaning | Why it applies |
|---|---|---|
| 12 / Advertising storageStore advertising informationad_storage |
| This signal controls permission for advertising-related storage. Selecting decline or withdrawing an allowance returns it to denied. |
| 13 / Advertising dataUse data for advertisingad_user_data |
| An advertising choice is broader than a storage toggle alone. Decline and withdrawal reset this signal along with the other advertising signals. |
| 14 / PersonalisationPersonalise advertisingad_personalization |
| Customising a setup inquiry does not imply permission to personalise ads. This signal returns to denied when you decline or withdraw. |
| 15 / AnalyticsStore visit measurementanalytics_storage |
| Separate controls make a partial choice possible. Declining optional storage or withdrawing an allowance returns all four signals to denied; a subsequent saved partial allowance enables only its selected category. |
Your decision / Change it here
Save only the allowance you mean
Allow optional storage allows analytics and advertising together. Decline optional storage declines both. To choose separately, open Manage choices, select the analytics and advertising checkboxes you want, then use Save choices. Opening or closing the panel by itself is not an allowance.
You can return here or use Cookie choices in the footer of any page. Withdraw an earlier allowance by choosing Decline optional storage. This immediately sets ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage to denied and clears known optional first-party storage under site control.
Global Privacy Control, including the Sec-GPC header, is honoured as an opt-out without asking again. With that signal active, optional storage and advertising use remain declined. A preference in one browser does not automatically update a different browser or device.
Clearing site data can remove site_consent_v2. The next visit then has no saved allowance to apply. Blocking local storage can also prevent the site from remembering a choice between visits; it does not give the site permission to infer agreement.
Declining leaves the inquiry route open
| Clause | Plain-language meaning | Why it applies |
|---|---|---|
| 16 / Reading and requestsThe site remains usable | You can read about the workspace, assemble a setup request and submit an inquiry after declining optional storage. Necessary form processing still receives the information you actively submit. | An inquiry needs a reply route and agreement to process that inquiry. It does not need advertising consent. See the inquiry process for the information worth preparing. |
| 17 / Optional activityThe allowance ends | Decline or withdrawal returns all four consent signals to denied. Optional analytics storage and advertising storage or use no longer have an allowance from this browser decision. Known optional first-party storage under site control is cleared on withdrawal. | A later refusal is a real change, not merely a hidden banner. It does not rewrite the fact that some processing took place under a previous valid allowance. |
| 18 / Requested supportChat is not an advertising choice | You can request support while advertising is declined. Starting chat saves a support token where browser storage is available. The widget checks for new messages every five seconds only while open and stops polling when closed or the page is hidden. | The token supports a service you actively requested. Closing the widget or clearing its token does not erase the transcript. Use the data-request route for records held by the operator. |
| 19 / Independent recordsWithdrawal is not remote erasure | Website controls cannot promise deletion of a platform's independently retained records. You can use the relevant provider's privacy routes for those records and contact the operator about information held here. | Consent state, browser storage and server-held records are different layers. A button can update consent now without having the power to erase every recipient's history. |
Read each provider's own handling
Provider policies explain their independent processing, international operations and request routes. The links below identify the relevant organisations; they are not a statement that a platform has assessed the product. Browser controls here apply to this destination, not to an advertising account you hold elsewhere.
| Clause | Plain-language meaning | Why it applies |
|---|---|---|
| 20 / GoogleGoogle Ireland Ltd / Google LLC | Google Ads receives consent signals and handles its advertising measurement. Read the policy at policies.google.com/privacy for Google's purposes and user choices. | The operator's six-month consent-record period is not Google's retention policy. Refer to the provider for its own records. |
| 21 / MicrosoftMicrosoft Ireland Operations Ltd | Microsoft Advertising information is covered by the Microsoft privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com. The statement explains Microsoft's processing beyond this page's preference controls. | A Microsoft campaign can bring a visitor here with |
| 22 / MetaMeta Platforms Ireland Ltd | Read Meta's privacy policy for its advertising processing and controls where Meta Ads supplies the visit. | Withdrawing the destination's advertising allowance is not the same action as changing your privacy settings with Meta. |
A record you do not recognise
Ask about its name and purpose
Send a storage question to office@moxbey.com or call +1 (656) 555-6275. The operator is Moxbey, trading at moxbey.com. Post can be sent to 26 Mill Street, Werkstatt 2, Austin, Texas 12918, Austin, Texas, United States.
If a browser tool shows an unfamiliar item, tell us its name and the page where you saw it. Do not send the stored value of a chat token, an entire advertising URL or a screenshot containing private account details. The name and context are usually enough to start an explanation.
For access, correction or deletion rather than an explanation of storage, use data requests. A data request is answered within 7 days. The privacy notice covers inquiry processing and rights; the assurances section of the terms explains the limits of website and product statements.
